After returning home from Monza, we bid farewell to Europe for another year. We’re now geared-up for a frantic, final eight rounds to conclude the longest race schedule in the sport’s history. And there is still plenty to look forward to as Formula 1 heads to Asia and the Americas, before the final Grands Prix of 2024 in the Middle East. Here’s what the next couple of months have in store…

In a fortnight’s time there is a double-header of street races to enjoy. The first is the flat-out blast by the Caspian Sea, as the World Championship heads to the Azerbaijani capital. Regarded as one of the fastest street courses in the world, the mix of long straights and the narrow, twisty section around the castle wall of the old town make Baku one of the most unpredictable races on the calendar. Did you know there have been five different winners in the six races held there since 2017?

One week later, Formula 1 returns to the original night race, as the streets of Singapore play host to one of the most-exciting events of the year. Situated close to the equator, the heat and humidity of the Lion City places an extra demand on the drivers as they tackle the 4.9km track under the floodlights. Pierre Gasly took a well-earned sixth place with us last year and will be looking to score more points when he returns later this month.

After a short break, we head across the Atlantic for a triple header of races in the Americas. First stop is Texas on October 20th. The music-loving city of Austin is always one of the most popular Grand Prix for the fans, while the drivers love the high-speed challenge of the Circuit of The Americas. A short journey of 750 miles south takes us to Mexico City where the fiesta at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez always coincides with Mexico’s Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations.

We then descend from the giddy heights of Mexico City (at 2,240 metres) to the relatively lower altitude of São Paulo in Brazil — although the city is still 762 metres high. The historic Interlagos circuit is fiendishly tricky to master, especially when it’s subjected to one of Brazil’s legendary downpours…

At the end of November, Formula 1 returns to its most-recent addition to the calendar — the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. After an exciting debut last year, where Esteban Ocon achieved a brilliant fourth for us, the street circuit gears-up for another blast under the floodlights. Our tip for the best view? Look no further than The Venetian Resort to sample the thrilling on-track action.

The last leg of the season finally takes place in the Middle East with Qatar and Abu Dhabi playing host to the 23rd and 24th rounds on December 1st and 8th respectively. Once again taking place after sunset, the spectacular facilities and exciting layouts will provide a wonderful backdrop to the climax of this year’s championship. Strap in for a thrilling end to this record-breaking season.
